Our East Tennessee Roots Run Deep

The modern amenities of Bear Creek Lodge are steeped in a rich history that dates back to 1798. Throughout many decades, the property has been a working farm passed down through members of the Acuff family tree. Today, it lies in the trusted hands of proprietors, the Page family. Mark Page, the grandson of Warren Acuff, began constructing the first guesthouse on the property in 2016, repurposing reclaimed materials from the homes of his grandparents and great-grandparents. As you explore the grounds of the farm and make yourself at home during your stay, take a good look around at what started as a 10 year old boy’s dream. Historical photographs adorn the walls, hinting of a past that is preserved in what is now a premier East Tennessee vacation destination.
